For thousands of years humanity has looked to the stars, guided by questions of divine purpose. Meticulous observation of celestial bodies over these thousands of years, combined with interpretation through the socio-political and spiritual lenses of many cultures, through many generations, has given way for the development of astrology. Astrology offers us a language, art, and discipline that can help anchor ourselves into the present, understand the past, and orient ourselves towards the future with vision and purpose.  

When distilled into its essence, astrology is the discipline of observing and connecting to celestial movement from a terrestrial perspective. Astrology speaks to the human experience of finding one’s place within the greater context of the cosmos. It allows us to identify patterns, both within and outside of us, that connect with the overarching rhythm between the past, present, and future.

Upon entrance into this human incarnation each and every one of us is given a unique natal chart as a gift from the cosmos: a talismanic rendering of the position of the skies from the precise perspective of where and when we entered our terrestrial experience. Developing a relationship with this celestial talisman grants us a life-long journey of personal development, meaning-making, and path-forging. Connecting to our birth chart invites us into a more intimate awareness of the cycles of nature, the tides of life, and our place within them at any given moment, particularly when we find ourselves at the crossroads.

Our birth charts are intricately woven works of art that manifest through us as humans. Each component of the birth chart is a beautifully spun thread, rich with meaning and nuance, woven together to create the tapestry that is our life. I seek to honor the lineage of astrology through my own practice by drawing from ancient perspectives, technique, theory, and philosophy, while simultaneously holding space for progressive interpretation that centers the complexities, nuances, and intersectionality of the contemporary human experience. My practice is centered in Hellenistic theory, interpretation, and timing techniques, using whole sign house system, while creating space for drawing meaning through modern incorporations such as the outer planets and poignant asteroids when relevant. Above all, my practice centers your own unique story and lived experience in an empowering way through developing and tending to the landscape of your unique life’s path.
