The entire first quarter of 2025 is shaded by retrogrades, as Mars’s biennial retrograde ushered us into the year and shortly after Venus and Mercury’s own retrogrades fall concurrent to one another.

While the retrogrades of our personal planets aren’t completely rare, the clustering of them so close isn’t something that happens too often! Which means that we’re starting off 2025 under a very particular, unique energy. On its surface it can feel slow, stagnant, and even frustrating. But underneath that aggravating surface comes an invitation for revaluation and revision by shifting our perspective in order to realign.
